Best get ready, New Brunswick. A new storm approaches, and this time it isn’t Dorian. That’s right, the 2019 edition of the Mud City Meltdown is just around the corner.
Taking place at multiple venues around the Moncton, New Brunswick core. Mud City Meltdown is looking to be quite the event. This five day music festival will be taking place from October 1st through 5th and will be featuring some great acts.
The artists billed to play are none other than Red Fang and the Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet. A performance from The Northern Pikes is sure to be a highlight of the week long festivities. You’ll also get sets from Hollerado and Rich Aucoin. Zuku and Tampa and the Francophone flavorings of Les Paiens. Adam Baldwin and Ian Blurton’s Future Now will be playing. Same can be said for Atsuko Chiba and Roxy & The Underground Soul Sound. Audiences will be dazed and confused by the name of Which Witch Is Which alone. And that’s before they even hear them play. Then there’s the likes of Julie Aube and Mike Trask. John Jerome & The Congregation. The sounds of Diner Drugs and Nebullama should have you all sorts of dizzy. While Amy Stone & The Veneers and Frig Dancer round out the talent for this years festival.
Tickets and passes
Tickets to individual shows, as well two different week long passes are available from the festivals website. One of the two passes will give you complete access while the other excludes two venues. Supplies on these are limited, so don’t let the dust collect on your shoulders if you’re planning on attending. Some of the programming is free of charge, too.
Molson will be on site, slingin’ cold pints of Canadian. With a cold brew in hand, what better way is there to welcome in the autumn season than with a rockin’ good time.
